DRIED APRICOTS - Crop 2009
The total fruitdamage is expected to be around
30-35% in total of Malatya.
The official estimation for 2009 announced by the Ministry of
Agriculture and Trade Stock Exchange is 100.790 mt. But the private exporters assume a crop size about 120.000 – 130.000 mt with a very small carryover.
The availability will most probably cover the demand in the new season 2009/2010.
