Turkish Sultanas - Update
The Izmir Commodity Exchange
announced their new crop estimation.
The official
estimation is 272.781 mt tons.
The new crop seems to be good.
Sound quality, but there are some deseases which might increase the percentage
of underdeveloped
berries.
First
shipments are expected to be done in mid of September.
Due to Ramadan
which starts on 20th August (during the drying period) the supply can be slow
during September.
Total exports are at 264.000 mt. Seasonal export
might
reach
280.000
mt.
